Re‑Thinking Electronics Workshop Highlights

On October 22, researchers, industry experts, and sustainability professionals gathered in Prague for the Re‑Thinking Electronics Workshop, powered by Convert2Green, to explore how electronics can become more sustainable and circular.

Participants heard from Maria Smolander (VTT) on Sustainable and Circular Flexible Electronics and Laura Strobl (Fraunhofer IVV) on Dissolution‑Based Recycling for WEEE plastics, offering valuable insights into recyclable materials, innovative recycling processes, and circular design.

Key discussions focused on the growing potential of printed electronics, advances in material innovation, and the importance of cross‑sector collaboration in reducing e‑waste and environmental impact.
